Flowering: Produces white button-shaped flowers in late summer and bears seed that benefits wildlife. Flowers are a great nectar source for butterflies.   

Uses: Attracts waterfowl, provides cover and food for wildlife, nectar for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Used for erosion control. Found primarily in wet or lowland areas.

Note: Prune in dormant season or early spring before new growth begins.
