AT LEAST 9 OUT OF TEN SURVIVED PLANTING. DEER ATE THE TOPS OUT OF ALL BUT THREE THAT DID NOT SURVIVE. THEY DO BETTER IF YOU PLANT THEM WHERE THEY GET SHADE FROM 10-1500 HOURS. WE HAD A DROUGHT AND THOSE IN THE SUN REQUIRED WATERING AND LOOK LIKE HELL COMPARED TO THE ONES IN THE SHADE. THEY SURVIVED AND I'M ORDERING MORE. ORDE THE $1 ONES.
