Seedling sales run from September 1 through May. Fall orders are typically processed the first three weeks of November and spring orders are processed throughout April and May. Seedling availability listed online is up-to-date.
Use the seedling categories at the top of the page or pictures on the home screen to navigate through the seedlings available for purchase.
Add items to your cart by choosing the size you want (if applicable), typing in the quantity desired (multiples of 25), then clicking ‘Add to Cart’.
When checking out, be sure to read through the Terms & Conditions, then click ‘I Agree’ to continue to the checkout page.
Enter your billing and shipping information, and select to have your order shipped or picked up at the Nursery.
Note: If you are out of Spee Dee’s shipping zone, please pay attention to select the correct shipping option that appears. You may need to click Refresh Rates after entering your shipping information to get updated rates.
Enter your credit card information into our secure site.
If planting the seedlings in Iowa, select the city/town you will plant the seedlings.
Select the week to have your order shipped or picked up.
Note that pickup orders are picked up the Thursday or Friday of the week selected, and any spring only items in your cart need to have a spring shipping or pick up date.
Once all information is entered and correct, click ‘Check out’.
An order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided during checkout.
You must register for an account to place an order with us.
If an item in your cart is no longer available, the webpage will display a notice that the item could not be added to your order and it will be removed from your cart.
An item that has zero availability may have a waitlisting option. If there is, a ‘Join the Waiting List’ button will be where the ‘Add to Cart’ button usually is.
When/if an item comes back in stock, the waiting list will be released and you will receive an email notification. Ordering is then on a first come, first serve basis.
An item picture shown as ‘Out of Stock’ will not have a waiting list.
